Chris Brown (born May 2, 1987 in Alexandria, Louisiana) is an American football running back. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Denver Broncos in 2010. He played in college for the Oklahoma Sooners.
Brown played high school football at Alexandria Senior High School. He finished with a school record 5,866 rushing yards and 79 touchdowns.
As a freshman in 2006 Brown spent most of the season as the third running back to Adrian Peterson and Allen Patrick, but started two games against Texas Tech and Baylor after Peterson and Patrick were out with injuries. He finished the season with 343 yards on 70 carries and six touchdowns. As a sophomore in 2007, Brown shared carries with Patrick and DeMarco Murray. He finished the season with 158 carries for 611 yards and nine touchdowns.
As a junior in 2008, Brown split carries with Murray. He finished the season rushing for 1,220 yards on 217 carries, with 20 touchdowns.
